The first theme I made for VRM was for the Christmas period of 2020. The theme showing up in Instagram and TikTok feeds was something interesting. After this reception, VRM wanted to create more themes.
I used a variety of tools to create these illustrations. Starting with Procreate for initial sketches, moving to Adobe Fresco for final illustrations, then exporting to Adobe Illustrator to make them vectorised and scalable. Finally, Figma was used as the bridge between the realtime developers, to create handovers of the variables and ensure the final spaces.
The Easter theme featured illustrated chicks, eggs, and spring scenery integrated into the VRM portal login page and dashboard. The theme was applied in dark mode to contrast with the bright spring colours, creating a striking visual effect.

The summer theme brought a beach and tropical feel to the portal, with palm trees, a sailboat, and a warm sandy palette. Applied to both the login page and the main dashboard as background illustrations.
